MUSEUM OPENS 3RD FLOOR

Full Description:
With the completion of the third floor, the museum committee has added the following exhibits: Mansfield Area Veterans, Railroad Comes to Mansfield, Early Businesses,Early Living, Salt Creek Massacre, and Growth of Mansfield. A large collection of old photos is hung throughout the museum. The "old" bedroom, kitchen, and wagon are most interesting to children. As the excellent dislplay of military uniforms and military history of Mansfield locals interests those who remember WWI, WWII, the Korean Conflict, and Viet Nam.
Donna Shepard Intermediate School and Roberta Tipps Elementary brought classes to tour the new facility this past month.
The ever popular cookbook, history books, note cards, afghans, annual Christmas ornaments, plates, mugs, T-shirts, etc. are sold in the museum.
Hours are Wednesday - Friday 11am - 4pm
Saturday 10am - 2pm.
