GORBELLA’S CITY-WIDE DONATION DRIVE SET FOR MARCH 16 NO DONATION TOO LARGE! NO DONATION TOO SMALL! WHAT: On March 16, a team of volunteers will be out in the Arlington and Mansfield communities collecting donations of clean, gently used children and adult size clothing, books, toys, furniture, small appliances, and other household items for the Gorbella’s rummage sale fundraiser. Arlington and Mansfield residents are asked to place their donations in a bag or box, clearly marked Gorbella’s, on their porch/driveway on March 16, and call or e-mail Gorbella’s to add their address or neighborhood to the route. Gorbella’s Rummage Round-Up & Bake Sale Benefit is scheduled for April 14, 2007 from 9am to 3pm at the Arlington Elks Lodge at Pioneer Parkway and Matlock, and is sponsored by the Arlington Elks, ArlingtonParent.com, Ft. Worth Metro Woman Directory, 106.1 KISS FM, and local representatives of Home Interiors, Melaleuca, the MOM Team, and Mary Kay. Early Bird presale passes are now on sale for $5. A presale pass admits entry into the sale one hour early. WHEN: Friday, March 16, 2007 HOW: E-mail playcafe06@yahoo.com to be added to the donation drive route, or to purchase a presale pass. WHY: Gorbella’s is a non-profit organization for the betterment of family friendly establishments in Tarrant County communities. Donations collected will be sold at the Rummage Round-Up & Bake Sale Benefit, and all event proceeds will ultimately fund Gorbella’s opening of a family-friendly coffeehouse/café and community resource center in the Arlington area, serving Tarrant County families.
